Woodbridge Academy of Rockwall
Executive Director

Priscilla Chatham is honored to serve as the Executive Director of Woodbridge Montessori Academy of Rockwall, a role she has held since 2019. With a career spanning 28 years in early childhood education, Priscilla’s journey began as a lead toddler teacher, igniting a passion that has only flourished over time.

Transitioning to an assistant director in 2005, Priscilla swiftly progressed to Director, armed with a non-expiring Director’s Credential from the State of Texas. Throughout her 15-year tenure in Montessori education, she has developed a profound appreciation for its methodology, prioritizing the child’s interests while respecting their individuality.

Priscilla finds true joy in working directly with teachers, children, and parents to help them achieve their goals. She is deeply committed to early childhood education, creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and eager to learn.

Communication is paramount to Priscilla, and she is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her three grown children, who have blessed her with four precious grandchildren. As a native Texan, Priscilla is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching early learning environment for her community.

Priscilla is genuinely excited to collaborate with families in creating an enriching learning experience that nurtures the unique potential of each child. Her role as a “Nonny” to her grandchildren has translated to the school, where students also affectionately call her Nonny. Together, they can embark on a transformative journey in early childhood education, fostering growth and development in the hearts and minds of future leaders.
